Senator Marco Rubio speaks in Palm Beach

Those of you that were part of the 130 attendees at our Monday lunch for Senator Marco Rubio were in for a Valentine Day treat. Senator Rubio gave us a hard hitting 40 minute analysis of some of the nation’s problems, and the increasing risk we face due to our huge international debt, rising inflation, over regulation of small business, and questionable corporate and personal tax status. The need for small businesses to be certain of their future tax requirements, not just 1 or 2 years ahead, is fundamental to hiring new staff and thereby reinvigorating the economy. You can read press coverage of the meeting at the following links to the articles in the Palm Beach Post and the Palm Beach Daily News, followed by the recent Palm Beach Daily News article about our February 4 breakfast with Congressman Allen West. You will want to keep an eye on both these two outstanding Florida national representatives as they develop their national political stature. You probably saw TV coverage of these events as well.
